CARBONPLUS+
Through its Carbonplus+ initiative, the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland conservation
charity, works with businesses to raise awareness of climate change. The Trust supports and helps
promote their strategies to engage staff, customers and shareholders in programmes of environmental
management and corporate responsibility.
Carbonplus+ enables companies to support tree planting and the creation of new woodlands across the
UK as an additional measure to their actions on reducing carbon dioxide emissions. The act of planting trees focuses people on action.

The Gold Shield Ten Year Warranty Scheme provides purchasers of new park homes with total peace of mind. Gold Shield was launched in 1987 as a statement of confidence in the quality and durability of
park homes and there are currently nearly 950 parks registered with the scheme and over 10,000 park homes are covered.
The Gold Shield Ten Year Warranty is managed by a Board of Trustees from the Park Home Industry and administered by the National Park Homes Council. Gold Shield operates an independent financial
reserve, financed by the park home manufacturers, which ensures that homes registered under the warranty benefit from full structural cover for a ten year period.
The Gold Shield Warranty is available FREE IF CHARGE to park home owners. These benefits are provided alongside and in addition to your purchaser’s rights under the law. Your responsibility is
to ensure that you take good care of your home, including maintaining regularly the coated exterior surfaces, in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

The National Park Homes Council (NPHC) is the specialist representative body for the residential Park Home industry. NPHC, a division of the National Caravan Council, deals solely with residential park
home matters. Our member companies comprise the leading park home manufacturers, residential park home operators and vendors and specialist suppliers of products and services to the industry. We are
committed, together with our members, to the policy of continual improvement in quality and raising levels of customer satisfaction. We created the NPHC Quality Award to promote those residential parks that demonstrate particularly high levels of professionalism in design, safety, park management and care of residents.
