Six members of Pathfinder Park Homes’ team recently completed a gruelling 115 mile bike ride from Lands End to Pathfinder’s home in Newton Abbot to raise money for Exeter Cancer Charity, FORCE. Over £1500 was donated to the charity which finances improvements in patient care through research, advanced equipment and an Information and Support Centre.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been able to support the work of FORCE and thanks go to everyone who supported our cycling team through sponsorship. We were first introduced to FORCE by one of our team, Shirley, who volunteers for the charity. FORCE carries out some incredible work in the area and we are thrilled to have raised over £1500,” said Martin Hember, Director at Pathfinder Park Homes.
Scott Jeff, Steve Hoare, Colin Mcnulty, John Potter, Andy Williamson and Martin Hember cycled the 115 mile journey over 2 days. Martin continued: “this really is a great achievement for the whole team. Adrian Wills was on hand for any emergency bike repairs and although the road conditions were tricky at times we had a really good journey, despite the rain and blisters!”
