If you read the blog you might be able to tell that the last few weeks have been non- stop and there’s no sign of it slowing down yet.  The team has been at Excel now for the last few days and it’s all going really well.

We are showing our brand new home, The View with Woodlands Country Park and the interest we have seen has been fantastic! We’ve had so many questions and enquiries – it’s really put a smile on our faces.  The View is something of a flagship for Pathfinder; it’s an incredibly affordable home that is making holiday lodge living a possibility for even more people.  But as it’s a Pathfinder home it’s still built to the exacting standards and finished with the same finesse that you would expect.

Our other home on show – the Beach Retreat, which we are showing in conjunction with Haulfryn is also causing quite a stir. The Beach Retreat is a beautifully styled, modern holiday lodge with an impressive floorplan which includes – an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area, family bathroom, three spacious bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and even a boot room!

Both homes are available to view on stands N9 and N19 at London’s Excel centre until this Sunday.  And it’s not just holiday Lodges on show – with a cookery theatre, ‘give-it a-go’ archery and kayaking taster sessions – it’s a great day out!

Well, we really couldn’t have hoped for a better show than that! At the recent Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Show at the SECC in Glasgow we not only had a chance to welcome lots and lots of people onto our stand, we also set up a great new partnership with our friends at Woodlands Country Park, just outside the popular market town of Garstang in Lancashire.

In the photo you can see William and Claire from Woodlands Country Park, with my brother Dave and Ray from Pathfinder.  We are delighted to announce that after the Motorhome Caravan and Camping Show at Excel next week, William and Claire will be taking delivery of The View, our brand new lodge that you will be able to see at Excel.

If you stop by our stand, not only will you be able to view The View, which is something of a flagship for Pathfinder, you will also be able to meet and discuss with William and Claire the opportunity to own The View in one of our favourite parks.

As I mentioned last week we will have two homes on show at stands N9 and N19 at Excel – The View, which we will now be showing in partnership with Woodlands Country Park, and the Beach Retreat, which we will be showing in partnership with one of the industry’s most respected park owners, Haulfryn.

By working in partnership with these fantastic UK holiday park owners it means that you get all the information you need on the best holiday homes and some of the best holiday parks all in one visit! So your dream home becomes one step closer.

You might think that it would be back to Devon then for our team but in fact they are keeping this show on the road, as it’s straight off to the Motorhome, Caravan & Camping Show at Excel in London for the 14th February until the 19th. 

We will be on stands N9 and N19 as we are showing The View – our brand new home and our beautiful Beach Retreat home with Haulfryn, one of the industry’s most trusted holiday park owners and operators.  After the show the Beach Retreat that you can see in the image above will be going to the Warren, Haulfryn’s breathtaking holiday home location on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. With miles of breathtaking coastal walks, and the constant backdrop of Snowdonia, sandy beaches and rocky headlands, the Warren is the sort of place you always hope to find, and never leave once you do.

The event, which runs from 2-5 February at the SECC in Glasgow is the only dedicated event for park lodges and those who love outdoor life, in Scotland.

Once again it will occupy all five halls within the SECC, with park lodges, holiday homes, accessories and even marine products and camping gear – everything you need to tackle the great outdoors! We’ll be on stand F40, you won’t be able to miss our Thorverton and Holicombe lodges, which will have brand new interior colour schemes.

If you’re in the area, or if you plan on making the trip, make sure to stop by at our stand for a chat. You’ll even have the chance to meet my brother Dave Hember who joins us as National Sales Manager!

Each of the park’s 30 lodges – including a Pathfinder Thorverton – enjoy spectacular views overlooking West Loch Tarbert, which is a stunning sight to watch for hours and hours through your living room window! The park caters for everyone from families to groups of divers, golfers and fishermen, and is a great base for walkers with Carradale, Tarbert, Skipness, and the famous Mull of Kintyr all on the doorstep.

The Thorverton lodge, features a cedar clad exterior, panoramic floor to ceiling windows, fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bathrooms to provide an all-round feeling of easy relaxed living. On both Saturday and Sunday the place was absolutely buzzing. We held so many guided tours, that by the end of the weekend I felt like I could change careers to become a full-time tour guide! It was all great fun and as you can see from the pictures, those that came along got a real insight into how Pathfinder homes are made.

As well as opening the doors to our real home here in Devon, we also threw the gates open on our new virtual home – with the launch of our brand new website. It looks fantastic, and there are lots of new features already in place like our 360° home tours – but there’s a lot more to come! We’ve got loads of quirky features up our sleeves, to make sure that the Pathfinder website is THE place to go to find all you need to know about holiday lodge living. From what park to choose and which home is right for you, to how best to maintain your home and everything in-between.
