We are currently seeking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant. As the newest member of our team you will contribute to an efficient and accurate finance function assisting the Finance Manager with junior accounting duties. Key responsibilities include:
• Posting of invoices onto Sage;
• Preparing payment runs;
• Reconciling supplier statements; Processing expense claims;
• Recording and distributing petty cash;
• Providing payroll support under instruction of the Finance Manager, including the collation of time sheet and absence/attendance data;
• Chasing missing delivery notes;
• Monthly WIP count.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess:
• Good IT literacy (good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Word);
• Previous experience working within a similar role;
• Good organisation skills; able to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines within a sometimes-pressurised environment;
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team, on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday | Full-time permanent
